Tour Taylor & Boody Organ Builders + Lunch, Staunton

Saturday, May 30th will be the SVBCC visit to Taylor & Boody Organ Builders, builders of tracker pipe organs, followed by a short drive to Trinity Episcopal Church in Staunton to hear one of their organs play. We will go to lunch afterwards at Latin Soul Restaurant in Staunton.

Meet at Taylor & Boody at 9:30AM on May 30th for an hour and half tour and depart for Trinity Episcopal in time to hear the organ play from 11:30am to noon. (Donations to Trinity are accepted and appreciated as they are trying to fund a
trip for their senior choristers as part of their development as a choir.) Location for Taylor & Boody is 8 Hewitt Road, Staunton, VA 24401 (at the corner of Eidson Creek Rd/Hebron Rd in the Swoope area). You’ll recognize it as a repurposed school building. Trinity Episcopal is located at 214 West Beverley St. in Staunton.

We will go to lunch after the tour and demonstration, at Latin Soul Restaurant, a short walk or drive at 300 Church Street, Staunton, VA 24401.
