Club VP Bob Lasater has put together another “Occasional Lunch Get-Together”:
“On July 26th, longtime SVBCC member Paul Wilson will give a talk/slide presentation showing the development of his metalworking skills. He began with aluminum, later found that steel worked better for his purposes. He formed the shapes over a solid buck, then wood frames, then steel rods, making body sections for a Lotus Eleven, an Amilcar, and finally several Alfa Romeos. He works with relatively simple and inexpensive equipment, similar to what French and Italian coachbuilders had when these cars were originally built.
Please RSVP By Monday, July 21 to: rlasater2274@gmail.com. I need to give the restaurant a head count – maximum of 50 people.
