SUMMARY:(SVBCC) Merrie Mill Farm & Vineyard British Revival Car Show
DESCRIPTION:A gathering for British cars\, organised* by David & Shirley Eames (both British)\, and held at Merrie Mill (owned by a British couple). Doesn’t get much more British than that. \n(*we just had to use the British spelling) \nHere’s the latest from David (as of late August): \n“As many of our members know\, I have been working for the past three years with Guy Pelly\, an Englishman and Co-Founder of the Merrie Mill Farm & Vineyard in Keswick\, to organize this popular cruise-in. In the past\, we have had over 50 British cars take part including the new Minis! All British Car Club members will receive a complimentary glass of wine. I have reserved a table for 12 for our SVBCC members to use as a “home base”\, but if you would like to reserve your\nown table\, please visit merriemillfarm.com. There will also be plenty of first come first serve tables on the patio and on the lawns.\nAll participating British cars will be displayed on the perfectly flat paddock lawn in front of the tasting room so all guests at the winery can see them. British cars should follow the signs to the paddock area on the paved driveway. \nBritish car attendees: please email guy@marriemillfarm.com and copy me eames325@gmail.com indicating your interest so that we can prepare for your arrival. DESCRIPTION:The Annual Crozet Car Show is a fun area event with good wine\, great views\, a food truck\, and a live band – and provides several thousand dollars each year to the area charities. Last year\, there about half a dozen nice British cars. Let’s have more this year! \n“Save the date!! We are excited to announce that the Crozet Car Show will be on 9/21 at Pollak Vineyards again! This year’s show will benefit Crozet Trails Crew\, who does some amazing work in Crozet connecting neighborhoods through the trail system.” \nNote: rain date is September 22.
